Double your pleasure?
The HD7's video displays odd horizontal jitter, and looking at this extracted frame you can see why: some heinous ghosting, which we suspect is a result of the technology JVC uses to merge three 960 x 540 fields into a single 1,920 x 1,080 frame.

You will find that majority of the cameras are like that regarding to inside lightning. I compared the jvc to a sony and panasonic and I noticed that the jvc had a slight advantage over the other two. Overall I still think the jvc is a much camera for video & camera shooting.

I feel the same way. I bought the camera about 5 weeks ago and when I bought the salesman explained this camera had a 5 megapixel still camera on it as well. That was exactly what I wanted: A good videocamera and a good still camera in one. But turns out the 5 megapixel is not really as good as the normal digital cameras and without a flash I cannot take any nice photos inside or in a darker area. To get the video on my computer is a nightmare and now I have to limit the bits I film to only 5 sec so I can use them on my computer without it taking the beter part of my day. All in all I am going to try to return it to the shop as I feel I was misled by the salesman, but I don't think my chances are great. For a camera this expansive I did expect to get the best, but that is hardly the case. If anyone is thinking of buying this camera, please think again.

I feel so bad about this camera, before buying, I read all the good things this camera could do, I was excited about buying it, then I bought it, while getting to know the camera, the first couple of days, I lost all my footage by accidently refomatting, when I finaly get some shots, the low lite videos were terriable, the smallest amount of movement of anything, the objsct or the camera, was fuzzy and out of focus, even attempting to use the manual controls caused the camera to move, therefore ruining the shot, this camera is a big llet sown for me, but I must admit it look good, I just wish it work performed as well as it looks
