Kodak's rugged portable video camera will appeal to outdoor shooters, once they get over the unit's strange controls.

    • Good: pocket size
    • Bad: AA batteries, not 1080p and poor stills

I saw one in a shop and found that for the same price the JVC version of these pocket cameras looked better as the JVC recorded in 1080p and the JVC took 8 megapixel stills as well.

    • Good: Weather resistant, comes with a free editing program, looks, generally easy to use, HD HD60 VGA and picture, fits into small pockets, comes with rechargeable AA batteries and finally great videos.
    • Bad: Chunky, cheap buttons, small screen.

I rate this product 8 out of ten, mainly because it looks nice, small for a video camera. On the other hand you have to get used to the cheap and tricky double operation buttons. All in all a great small video camera, but needs work in the button area.
