Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2: Rear-wheel drive supercar leaked
By Antuan Goodwin on 01 July 2009
If these leaked Lambo photos are to be believed, less is finally more! The Gallardo LP550-2 sports 10 fewer horses and is rear-wheel drive only, but should have tightwads and purists cheering.
Is less more?
The most substantial changes to the rumoured Gallardo LP550-2 happen underneath the sheet metal. A rear-wheel drive powertrain replaces the all-wheel drive system of the LP560-4. Additionally, the 5.2-litre V10 has been detuned to 550 horsepower (410kW), hence the name.
