Laptops with long battery life

By Craig Simms on 02 July 2009

MSI Wind U115 Hybrid

The Wind is still one of the better 10-inch laptops in the mix, although due to its substandard trackpad and high price, we'd suggest the HP Mini 2140 or Asus Eee PC 1000HE would be a better choice.

I agree. To make informed choices one must be presented with the basics - features/technical specs in a standardised format, like a table.
One can only assume a hidden agenda, such as sponsors, making money etc, otherwise it's just incompetence

netbooks? why would you post any netbooks if regular FULL POWERED laptops such as the Lenovo X200 and X200s and the Dell latitude E6400 (both roughly 7-8 hours battery life - with actual normal use, over 10 with limited). and much more cheaper and can be configured more powerful then the macbooks and def more power than every other laptop on there

i am so sick & tired of sites that always quote in usdollars and also the prices for all things u.s. such as anti virus etc are still as expensive as when the aus dollar was at 56cents to the u.s.dollar like hello we now sit around 75 - 85cents to u.s.dollar.So why do prices not reflect this change with many items across the board not just electronics either - irritated jodii88

    EXACTLY RIGHT.

WITHOUT THAT INFO, THIS SITE IS USELESS.

... although I have to ask, where's the section for Lenovo ThinkPad X200/ X200s? I can get 14 hours with mine not using wireless, or 10 hours on normal use - pretty impressive for a full-powered laptop, and I'm sure it's better than some of the options put up there...
