HTC Shift Specifications

More HTC reviews , RRP: AU$1999.00

The good:

  • Runs Vista quite well
  • Supports mobile broadband
  • Accurate touchscreen

The bad:

  • Keys are tiny
  • Three interfaces present a confusing, ill-thought out presentation
  • Low battery life
  • Higher resolution option is simply squashed into a lower one
  • Heats up noticeably while plugged into the wall
  • Many dedicated devices are cheaper and do a better job than this attempt to be a "jack of all trades"

The bottomline:

HTC's Shift is yet another UMPC — and another white elephant to add to the pile.
