MY HP Compaq 6715b is without doubt the worst computer I've ever had, coupled with a bloody awful OS in Vista. Ridiculously slow for almost any task compared to the Dell it replaced, unreliable CD and DVD burning make archiving a nightmare, hangs and crashes more often than any other Windows PC I've ever used, poor wireless range compared to the Dell it replaced. Battery life ok when new but after a year it's laughable. I'm sure a lot of it is to do with HP shipping the damn thing with Vista having designed it for XP, but given the poor optical drive and that I sometimes struggle to get as far as BIOS when starting up unless I take the back off and re-seat the RAM I'm not convinced it would be vastly better with another OS. I'm saving up for a Macbook and when I've got it I'll have my revenge on this thing in a very brutal and final way.
Pros: Heavy enough to sink without trace very quickly when I launch the damnable thing off a ferry into the Bass Strait. Large enough to make an easy target if I decide to shoot it instead.
Cons: How long have you got? The longer I've had it the more I've grown to hate it.
