Attractive and feature-rich, the X3470 is a great mid-range photo printer.

Overall functions fine for the price. The ink issue is the problem.

    • Good: Function well for the price.
    • Bad: No black ink cartridge. If printing mostly none color documents ink runs out quickly.

thex3470 printer is perhaps the worst machine i have ever had the bad fortune to purchase i believe that the company should repair same without payment as this is the second machine the first being returned to the company now something as simple as changing the ink printer mucks the whole thing up and even though the cover is not open the machine thinks it is it has also frozen all of its buttons

    • Good: not a happy chap[py
    • Bad: still not a happy chappie

I am very sorry I purchased this Lexmark all in one printer

    • Good: If it had more weight it might make a boat anchor, unless you don't mind buying a LOT of ink cartridges.
    • Bad: I had trouble with the ink cartridge "right out of the box" It uses ink like it's free, only 50 to 70 pages per cartridge. prints very light(faintly) unless you select "darker" then uses more ink. No help from support (although they did send me a new cartridge that wasn't any better.)

Works great, small size, works great on home network. Overall very impressed.

    • Good: Cost $35 at meijer, refil ink cartridge cost $22, built in memory card slots saved me from having to buy a seperate card reader, one button copying, very compact, and quick printing.
    • Bad: No seperate black ink cartridge, usb cable not included even though it is required.

Great Printer for the price. Printing quality is good, and photo printing is excellent. Scanner works very well with good resolution. Woudl recommend to anyone.

Ink seems to last quite well.

Wow, a load of nerds here.

For the price this is a good deal. I'm quite happy with this device. It does everything I expected and no faults.

    • Good: Compact, easy to setup and install, most mum and dad customers would be hard pressed to make a mistake.

Decent quality, it's not a colour lazerjet and I didn't expect it to be. Cheap and functional.

Don't expect a $500 machine as some people here are complaining like they did, it's not.

Quality of printouts is fine for the price. I've seen far worse for the same. Fast printing, good quality scanning. Good for a MF device.
    • Bad: No black ink cartridge slot, but again - no fuss and no problems. Ink is expensive, sure, but show me a printer with cheap ink..

Worst printer I ever purchased. Don't allow you to print in black only. Sucks down the ink like a drunk sucking down a bottle of Boonesfarm wine.

    • Good: Nothing good about this printer. CNET's review is totally false!
    • Bad: Ink cartridge sucks down the ink.
      No Black Only printing
      JUNK!!!!
