Lexus IS250 in-depth

By Derek Fung on 17 June 2009

We spent a week with the Lexus IS250 Sports Luxury and found that the emphasis was on the latter, although it's probably sporty enough for most of us.

2009 or 2006?

We're big fans of the IS250's looks, sporty without being macho and pretty without being too much of a dandy. It's been updated for 2009, but you'll have to look hard to spot the differences.

When I saw that you guys had some car reviews I wondered why anyone would come here to read them. After all, there are some really well-respected motoring journalists in Australia. And yes, you can find their reviews on line.

Reading this answered my question... they wouldn't. Seriously, you need to actually review the car and not just the gizmos. There's a hell of a lot of technology in the motor and driveline that would be well worth spending more time on, rather than the headlight spray. I mean... seriously, most of the technologies you talked about are pretty run-of-the-mill these days.
