3D printing is growing fast. It's no longer the realm of small plastic objects; we've seen 3D printed fabric, shoes and couture, architecture, bio-material (including human organ tissue), food and integrated electronics.
Makerbot may no longer be the most advanced, but it was one of the first to bring 3D printing to mainstream attention with its affordable household printers. It has made no bones about wanting to open up the technology's accessibility even further, and we espect an interesting keynote from CEO Bre Pettis, with a look back on what Makerbot has achieved in the last year — and what it hopes to attain going forward.
