My "Want It" list

  • Buzz! Quiz TV

Thanks to its wireless buzzers and online play, the first Buzz for PS3 is a must have for trivia or party game fans. Make sure you have a widescreen TV though.

  • Sony PlayStation 3

Sony's built the PlayStation 3 with a definite eye on the future. Can it maintain its lead in the gaming arena with its new console?

  • Apple iPod Touch

If the Touch is the player that you want, that you really, really want, you've probably got one already. Fence-sitters should stay there until next year when third-party apps or version 2.0 comes out.

  • Mario Party 8

There are some good minigames in Mario Party 8, but the overly familiar, chance-heavy board game wrapper gets in their way.

Haven't started your "Got It" list yet?

  • New Super Mario Bros

The title may have the word "new" in it, but this latest Super Mario Bros game just bristles with old-school charm.

  • Animal Crossing: Wild World

Wild World doesn't toy with the original Animal Crossing formula, but simply being able to take your town with you on the go makes it an easy recommendation.

  • Apple iPod Nano (4th generation)

Apple has set the Nano back on track with the thinnest, lightest design yet, and has features that are hard to ignore.

  • Nintendo DS Lite

The DS Lite is smaller, lighter and, frankly, much cooler looking than its bulky predecessor.

  • The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Twilight Princess contains the same expertly designed puzzles and time-tested gameplay that you've come to expect from the series, though parts of its presentation feel stuck in the past.

  • Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock

Despite a few small flaws, Guitar Hero III is an excellent addition to the Guitar Hero franchise and shouldn't be missed.

  • Wii Sports

Wii Sports makes for an ideal pack-in with Nintendo's new console, providing some fun, simple gameplay that's accessible to almost anyone.

  • Mario Kart Wii

Mario Kart Wii offers varied multiplayer and thoroughly integrated online modes that will keep you coming back for more.

  • Nokia 6500 Slide

The Nokia 6500 Slide is an attractive 3G phone, but despite features like video-out doesn't really offer anything enticing enough to buy one.

  • Nintendo Wii

The Nintendo Wii (nee Revolution) boasts the ability to play any title from Nintendo's back catalogue. Will that be enough to make it competitive against the powerful PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360?
