How awfully convenient that at the time of writing, Mr Spreckley is the only person to claim mis-use of his credit card details since the attack on Sony Computer Entertainment's network thus far...

Maybe he's legit, but it's awfully convenient that no one else has made such claims thus far (at least according to Sony).

I don't know why people think the original Doom movie was so bad, I mean, it wasn't fantastic, but it certainly wasn't the atrocity that people often claim it was...

Well we already knew Sony Ericsson had plans for a Windows Phone 7-powered device, Sony Ericsson even pointed that out themselves... But how is this going to work alongside Sony's own products?

For example, a key component of Windows Phone 7 is the integrated XBox compatibility/connectivity/whatever - surely Sony Ericsson aren't going to release a product with this functionality?

Okay, we all know they are (as state above), but it just seems rather strange from a business perspective... They (Sony Ericsson) would basically be advertising AGAINST their own products!

Unless Sony Ericsson have some sort of agreement and/or plan to exclude this specific functionality?

Good to see that Joseph Hanlon hasn't lost his bias against Sony/Sony Ericsson...

Buuut clearly Joseph seems to conveniently forget the announcements that have generated some of the most talk - Sony Ericsson's 2011 lineup, which includes the Xperia Anzu and the long-awaited Xperia Play (aka. the "PlayStation Phone")!

Seriously Joseph, loose the bias or move on to somewhere else...

This is pretty neat for people like myself that always buy Sony where possible, though the lack of a backlight is a little disappointing...

What about the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10a/Xperia X10i? Last time I checked, there weren't too many cell phones out that that offer an 8MP camera AND HD (high-definition) video recording!

And before anyone claims I'M being bias, take a look around - you'll find plenty of Web sites praising the exceptionally high quality of the Xperia X10a/Xperia X10i camera...

It's not on the PlayStation Network (PSN) at the time of writing... Just checked.

I'b buy one... If there were actually games available for it!

An owner of every "traditional" PSP (PlayStation Portable) to date, I was GOING to upgrade my current device, buy the wife AND son a PSP Go for christmas... Until I discovered that a LLOONNGG list of games is not available for the PSP Go!

Despite promises that "all new games will be available for the PSP Go", most games are still released on UMD (universal media disk) only, including many "key" games (such as Kingdom Hearts)!

Great price, but completely pointless if you cannot purchase the latest games...

I may be no Android expert, but I know more than most and I struggle to see how Android is going to provide the power presumably necessary for the "PlayStation 2-like graphics" found on the existing PSP (PlayStation Portable).

Further to this, current battery technology simply ISN'T suitable for a mobile phone AND gaming device-in-one - under "real world circumstances", one is NOT going to play games on this thing for a couple of hours AND use this as a phone, whilst accessing e-mail and/or the Internet without charging the
battery every 2-3 hours... Yeah, that's NOT gonna go down well with most consumers.

I'm all for a "PlayStation phone", I've been waiting for one since
the very first rumours (way back before Nokia's infamous "N-Gage"
products were even announced!), but if this is the best Sony've got to offer, they may as well stick with the current PSP (PlayStation Portable)...
