Sony Ericsson P1i User reviews

By Ashwin Sridhar on 09/10/2007

More Sony Ericsson reviews , RRP: AU$1099.00

The good:

  • Compact design and form factor
  • Business card reader
  • 3.2 megapixel camera with LED flash
  • 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity bundled with connection manager software to prioritise connections (e.g. Wi-Fi over 3G)

The bad:

  • The dual QWERTY keypad takes a while to get used to
  • Minor interface quirks
  • No HSDPA
  • No 802.11g Wi-Fi support
  • No 3.5mm headphone

The bottomline:

The P1i has most of the bells and whistles a business user could want, but the user interface is a little quirky.

Nice phone but can't get ehe sync to work with OFfice 2007 even with the PC Suite 1.3.22.

Pros: 1. Connectivity (3G, Wifi, BT)
2. Light weight
3. Size

Cons: 1. Sync with Outlook 2007 (*****)
2. Does not look special like P900i

I really do hate Sony Ericssons right now...

Cons: WHY ARE THEY ALL SO SIMILAR? what happened to SE's unique design and originality in handsets? They are all just candy bar phones or slider phones that look THE SAME... Come on SE, i used to love ur phones...
