I wish i had've found this site earlier! I've been having the freezing/jamming/updating settings issue as a lot of people on here! I'm playing the blmae game with Optus and Sony at the moment!
Pros: Light weight
Cons: *Freezing
*Jamming when sending messages
*Updating profile and changing it to one it likes whenever it likes
*Poor keyboard - jams all the time
I lost my phone and bought this one to replace it. I really wanted a slider phone and this looked like one of the nicest available. The phone is quite nice to hold and use.
I have found one problem, which I may be able to fix with a software upgrade. Since I have had the phone (got it around Feb 08), I have completely lost access to my sms folders. I can neither send or receive messages. I noticed this was occuring after removing files from the phone, particularly image files. I have my suspicions that this is due to mms messages, but I am not sure. I think the latest software upgrade may fix it but I am waiting until it breaks again to try it. In any case, it's very frustrating.
I have noticed the phone crashed/white-screened/froze a couple of times, but once I turn it off and on again it seems to be fine.
The battery life is quite good, and I like that you can charge it through the USB cable.
One feature I didn't consider when buying the phone is the fact that you can synchronise your outlook calendar with the phone. This has been excellent, and now I couldn't live without that function.
The photo quality is good during daylight, but terrible at night, and there is also no flash. The video recording and sound is quite good for a phone, as long as you don't expect too much.
The phone is quite easy to use and I like the interface and buttons. The numeric buttons are quite close together and it takes a bit of getting used to but it doesn't bother me now.
There are a few games, but I never buy phones for the games. The rolling ball one is cool though, because you can tilt the phone and the ball will react. It gets boring fast though.
I use msn on this phone too with 3 but it is not as good as when using msn with my old Nokia 6280, because some contacts don't appear if you have a large contact list.
Pros: - Outlook calendar synchronisation
- nice slider design
- charges through USB cable
- good sound quality
- nice user interface (but note that the vibration when moving between menu options only works for some themes)
Cons: - May lock you out from viewing, sending or receiving sms's!! (but check latest software update)
- Software backup doesn't include backup of sms's
- Photo quality very poor at night and no flash.
- You can only change the camera snap sound but you can't turn it off.
- occasional freezing requires reset
- couldn't get some vodcasts to play on the phone - the video images were constantly out of sync with the sound.
Very good phone but still a few steps behind perfectness. 2.0 mpix camera is enough for mms, email use. The sound is good and comparable or even better to many DAPs on the market. FM reception is good and clear. This phone is also great for mobile gaming fans. Light and slim design adds to portability.
Pros: Great LCD screen with big viewing angles
Good sound quality
Superb gaming platform for j2me and flash lite games
Good media player/viewer
Design!
Intuitive, fully customizable UI
Cons: Some numeric keys a bit hard to access
No flash for camera
Sometimes crashes
Problems with supporting M2 cards bigger than 2GB
Too high noise level
Poor speaker
Organizing photos in media player may be painful (it's better to use file browser)
I already have my N95...but i lyk the looks of this cp....very much for a lady lyk me. i dont need a camera....uses it only for call ant texting...i dont have a problem with the battery...its nicer
Pros: its completly nice
Cons: no cons if you want nice camera, just buy a 5megapixel cp.
It's been a long time coming but finally Nokia has a sexy touchscreen phone. Although, does it have what it takes to make us look away from the ever-alluring iPhone?
CNET Australia's latest video series is dedicated to everything mobile, including a peek at the sexiest phones of the future and a wrap of all the phone's we've reviewed this month.

Become the master of your mobile with phone-syncing software. Here's how to backup data such as contacts and messages from your phone onto your computer without paying your carrier.
Other manufacturers are very close, but Sony Ericsson is the first to show off its 8-megapixel camera phone: the C905. Armed with a range of tech, this latest Cyber-shot is more than a phone with a camera stuck to its back.
Pronouncing that a given device doesn't need any more storage is a near-foolproof recipe for looking stupid somewhere down the line. However, I'm sceptical that many people need a 16GB mini-SD card for their phone.
Just because Apple charges for iPhone ringtones doesn't mean we should have to pay for them. Follow our step-by-step guide to creating your own ringtones using your favourite MP3 files.

worst phone i have ever owned in 12 years. Do not recommend to anyone. Have had nothing but problems with this phone. Never again, and back to nokia.
Pros: None to mention
Cons: software issues, phone switching off constantly, poor battery life. Really think twice before getting this phone.
