Motorola PEBL V6

By Jeremy Roche on 17 June 2005

Sophisticated simplicity radiates from the smooth oval-shaped PEBL V6, which gracefully flips open in a unique way to reveal a vivid colour display. We'll have to wait til the second half of the year to see it, though.

    Style all the way!

This has got to be the most amazing phone I have ever seen. If Motorola, or any other manufacturer, kept making models like the RAZR then it would become repetitive and boring. I would nver buy a phone that had more "gadgets" than this because I know I would be wasting my money as I would not use them enough to make my money's worth. Tri-band is enough because that cover America and any other main countries. I don't feel like visiting Uganda any time soon. So if it is not about the technology then it is all about the style. Boy does this baby have it! It is so smooth and individual... it really crosses the boundaries, and for that I LOVE IT!

    pretty good

how can you guys say this is a step backwards? did you really expect phones to keep getting thinner after the v3? this a a hot phone, monochrome outer display adds to the style. keypad looks awesome. feature wise it isn't great, but its got all the basics, and who cares when it looks this hot?

    Ummm...NO!!!

Okay Motorola, not cool. You make us wait for THIS?!?! First off, still only VGA camera. No Operating System changes, like smart phone integration. Monocrome outer display?!?! Fatter than the razr?!?! At least the Razr had size going for it. This thing still only has 5 MB of memory. Well I will not be waiting in line for this product like I had hoped. Now that specs are out on this...Will Not Buy! Maybe next time, Motorola. Maybe next time.

    Apple?

Suppose it comes in apple-white and features a large amount of internal flash, say half the amount found in an iPod-mini?

This is like a step backwards.

Monochrome outer display??? who wants that? triband? fatter look.. man this is a step backwards from the razr and that too is not the top of the line in the market.

Wouldn't pay more than 100 bucks for this one.

Wish they had improved over these years.

The UI design looks exactly the same as any other motorola. No provision of add-on memory, whats the use of MP3, video capture if you can't store it.

I would need more than just a pretty face to buy this one.
