Motorola V171
By Ella Morton on 15 April 2005
The v171 will suffice for those wanting a cheap phone for travel or emergencies, but its humble features and lack of extras will frustrate most users.

Small, compact, used with NET10
I use this phone with my Net10 provider, and I like it. This is the best you can get with Net10, but not very very good. I like the size, but too bad there's only 3 games and you can't choose colors. Also the screen is small, but there's no need for a big screen with Net10. I'd give it 7.5/10.

Fantastic!
I own this phone myself and I it works great for me. It has a nice, simple design that is appealing to the eye. The screen may be a little small but that doesnt stop anyone from making calls. If you want a phone to make calls and store numbers, this phone is the way to go. Basic as they come but very convenient.

Not worth it
my parents bought me this phone and i automatically hated it. The screen is like 3cm and from what others say there are like no accessories or downloads. It's also budget. Doesn't look well made and lets be honest, you cant get a good phone lor less than $500. Pathetic. Not worth it.

This phone sounds good.
We'll, I haven't purchased the V171 phone yet. I'm buying it in about a week. From finding out information about and getting people opinions, it sounds like it's a good phone to me. Although, it doesn't have a scheduler or a voice recording.

no won't support MMS
I am not happy with the phone. I can't download any coloured wallpapers and it won't support MMS and it was dearer that phones with more features. I feel I have been ripped off.
