Sources within Movie Network have told The Australian that the announcement was made today and that all 42 staff are now looking for jobs. The Movie Network had previously been responsible for negotiating supply deals for Warner Bros, Disney, MGM and Village Roadshow studios.

It is believed that the move comes after Foxtel chose not to renegotiate contracts with any of its movie suppliers.
