MP3 ringtones on my Treo?

Thanks for your Treo 650 review. Can it use MP3's as ringtones? My mate had a 600 and he said you had to email mp3's to the phone to use them as ringtones -- is this true for the 650?

    Ringo software is 29.95 for Treo 650. Thats expensive for a device 3 years old now. Not worth it.

    There's a way to download ringtones to Treo memory card. I found this blog post:
