There's a certain sameness about iPod cases, so we were happy when Speck released this new texturized rubber design that gives you something interesting to hold onto.
The Cloud FunSkin case comes with a detachable belt clip and removable plastic screen cover that fit semi-snug under the rubber, although we'd prefer it if they were built to stay in place. They're probably better choices for kid Nano users: Cloud makes your iPod Nano look like it was designed by the Michelin Man. Speck Funskin also comes in a Grass version, which looks like an interesting novelty that you'd buy on a whim and later regret. Still, for the young and the young at heart, they provide fun shapes and serious protection.
