More Jabra reviews , RRP: AU$159.00

The good:

  • Comfortable to wear
  • Offer decent sound
  • Effective noise-cancelling circuitry
  • Fold up for compact storage in their included carrying case

The bad:

  • Don't sound or feel quite as good as the QuietComfort 2

The bottomline:

For about a third of the price, Jabra's C820s noise-cancelling headphones deliver much of what the Bose QuietComfort 2 headphones offer.

Bought these at Dick Smith Super Store, they are great.

Pros: good noise cancelling

Cons: Airplane movie volume can make them quite lound when using noise cancelling

Good headphones

Purchased a set 2 days ago. Used for a busy office environment with computers with very loud fans, background noise of people talking, printers, and other general sounds. Single AAA battery lasted for around 1 day but this may be due to the battery being a bit old. (Engergizer rechargeable 850mAh NiMH).

Compared to the previous headphones which had no noise reduction technology, these headphones make a huge improvement. The active noise cancellation appears to almost eliminate the sounds of the computers and a deskfan. The sounds of the printer are almost eliminated except for some clicking sounds it makes.

Overall the headphones are really quite good, although this is the first pair of noise cancelling headphones I have bought. No complaints so far...

Pros: Comfortable.
Cheaper than other models.
Reasonable audio quality.
Cables are seperate to the headphones.
Good selection of cables included.

Cons: For people who use the headphones regularly (+4 hours per day), changing the AAA battery may become tiresome. Note: Only required if you want to use the noise cancelling function.
