No one wants to get writer's cramp or carpal tunnel, but it can be hard to avoid if you're taking notes in classes or meetings all day.

A digital voice recorder is the ultimate solution for avoiding such pains, and ever-evolving technology is making these handy devices even more compact and useful. You can get a decent one for about AU$100, but why drop your extra cash on a voice recorder when you can use it to buy -- well, something more entertaining, such as an MP3 player? You can kill two birds with one stone by picking up one of these voice-recording MP3 players. If you already own an iPod, bring out its recorder side with the Belkin iPod Voice Recorder.

The Creative Zen Touch almost universally has a in-line remote with FM radio/recording and voice recording included in the $499 RRP. It does a great job, even though i never really have to use it - i just like the FM radio & recording.

How do you take these voice recordings off of the player and put it onto a PC?

I am looking for a recording device ( like a MP3 player) that can record a classroom lecture then have some kind of software that I can then have the lecture printed out off my computer into a written form of notes. Please let me know if you know of anything that can help me do this.....
