The Touch: Now available in 32GB.
Apple has introduced a 32GB iPod Touch, available in Australia for AU$629.
The new player joins two previously released Touches in Apple's MP3 player line-up: an 8GB model which retails for AU$399, and an AU$499 16GB model. All versions now ship with the software update released at last month's Macworld event in San Francisco. This includes Mail, Maps, Stocks, Notes and Weather applications as well as the ability to customise the home screen.
Customers who purchased iPod Touches prior to the release of the 32GB player are able to obtain the software update from the iTunes store for AU$24.99.
The 32GB Touch can be purchased now from Apple's Web site and authorised resellers.
The company also doubled the capacity of its hugely popular iPhone to 16GB. The device is not yet available in Australia, but a source who claims to be close to those in the know told CNET.com.au a 3G version will be released locally in April.

More space for music is a great thing. But, where are the updates. Apple is not listening to the end users. I'm so disappointed with the iPhone, and I can only tell people to wait and not buy it yet. Apple spends more time on making it hard for hackers, but why are people hacking the iPhone. Simple; Users are not getting what they need. Apple need to step up and upgrade this phone, before they lose ground

you've gotta be kiddin me but ey.. apples becoming the new microsoft in mp3 world. why doesnt apple strip down the 80gb or 160gb video classic and build into a iphone classic which holds all of the space u need to hold frkn music on and at the same time be a able to ring people
