If you collect MP3s from disparate sources, your ID3 tags
are probably in shambles.
Ideally, an ID3 tag would include information about the song,
artist, album, year, and genre. Some of your tracks may have just
the artist labeled, others only the song title, while still
others may have all of the information you need. If you want to
keep your music collection organised, editing the ID3 tags is
essential. The instructions below will get you started editing
those tags.
Required Attention Span: 1 minute per song
Before you start, you'll need to gather these elements:
- Musicmatch Jukebox or iTunes
- Music CDs
- MP3s
Step one
Open Musicmatch Jukebox. If the Music Library window isn't open, click View and select My Library to open it.
Step two
Find the song you want to edit in the Music Library, and right-click it. If it's not there, drag the MP3 file into the Music Library. Then select Edit > Edit Track Info.

Step three
Add, remove, or edit any information in the ID3 tags. Click OK when you're finished.

Step one
Launch iTunes.
Step two
Select a song or group of songs you want to edit. Then go the File menu and select Get Info. PC users can right-click the selected song to select Get Info.

Step three
Add, remove, or edit any information in the ID3 tags. Click OK when you're finished.

What if my computer is full of viruses? Seriously I try doing this in iTunes and when I right-click on the tracks I get an error message saying "File unreadable by iTunes, please run extensive high-end virus scan"

Contrarily to what I have said ON 20/3/08, I never managed to cope with Netlog Music Tool. I found DIZZLER that keeps all my preferred songs with their paroles written. Thank you, anyway!
