While its cheap offering price is enticing, issues with the physical design and build quality make the Shinco SDP-1720A a less than appealing portable DVD option.
The iRiver Lplayer is a very likeable player with a decent feature set and an ideal choice for anyone seeking a small and simple MP3 player for music. The best reason to choose it is its small size and intuitive navigation system.
The DVP703 might seem like another cheapy portable DVD player. In price terms it is — but its value is rather more than first meets the eye.
Video's a little shonky and scrolling will test your patience, but the E100 delivers the audio goods and throws in some nifty features to boot.
The first player from Australian brand Life! has a laundry list of features, but video sync issues and teeny touchscreen controls hold it back.
With its unrivalled screen and codec support, its direct recording capabilities and its ability to playback DVD video files without transcoding, Cowon's A3 is a well-priced behemoth for portable video lovers.

Good Price Good Product
As the full review states discs do grind when first put in and spin fast when youy open the dvd. But there is a great picture and sound quality with the shinco. When we brought the player at strathfield we were not wanting to spend alot of money which was a tiny bit risky but its great
