Navman MY55T

By Derek Fung on 29 June 2009

Just like the 4.7-inch MY50T, but with added goodness in the form of Bluetooth hands-free, more memory, an FM transmitter, 3D landmarks and a higher capacity battery.

Can the MY55t play mp3 files? The brochure and the manual say it can but some sites say it can't.

    • Good: easy to use, fast to load, keyword function make finding the destination much easier and faster, speed alert, safety camera alert, built in Traffic ready, Beautiful unit, compact mount not too bulky, sensitive screen
    • Bad: Bluetooth doesnt seem to be in sync with my mobile phone (keeps on dropping out), advised me to turn on a no right turn,

I purchased this unit from www.wireless1.com.au and after receiving my unit i was eager to try it out. This unit have many upgraded features compare to the previous Navman and the slim light weight design took me by supprise. Very easy to use and start up as well the mount is very compact and not bulky. All the accessories in the box comes with 2 yrs manufacturer warranty which i find it very mind easing. my favorate function have to be "keyword" to find a destination which makes my search much more simplier. There is a few things that i may need to do some software update in order to get all the other function to work probably for example bluetooth.
