Navman S200
By Derek Fung on 08 October 2008
The S200 is like the top-of-the-range S300t, except that it misses out on a built-in traffic messaging receiver. This means its feature list includes an FM transmitter, MP3 and video playback, 3D landmarks, extended lane info and an iPhone-style interface.

- Good: screen resolution and voice prompts good
- Bad: missing some qualities of previouse models
This unit is a step back from previous models, in that it is difficult to negotiate and add fav's, and how do you look forward on your trip?
Much prefer the 150 -

- Good: Not many GOODS in S200
- Bad: Bad Navigation, Wrong street Names and Directions. Glide screen problem on live map. Only explorer
Not recommend to buy S200 cheap and nasty service. Could not start properly. Freezes

- Good: Works as a GPS, but so do the lower scale models.
- Bad: Bluetooth does not work with all phones. Check with Navman for list of phones/devices.
Touch screen not very sensitive and is a pain, but performs better by using a stylus.
Scrolling function is equally bad and can often lead to frustration.
Remember there is no FM radio, but only a FM transmitter for letting the Navman route through the car stereo. Do you really need this feature
Go for a lower version or another make with a better touch screen.
