I've found this router to be very reliable. Its reception is quite powerful and never drops.
The only inconsistency i found about this router is the instructions for plugging in the antenna before any cables are plugged in. If this is not done i've noticed that the routers reception quality dramtically drops and the receptions drops it self as well.- Good: Very powerful and strong
- Bad: none that i have experienced so far

The Wifi Range is poor, the signal is weak even when sitting next to it. Connection keeps on dropping number of times....disappointed
- Good: Simplicity to configure
- Bad: Poor signal strength, frequent line drops, requires resetting and power on off to get it going>>>HOPELESS

Brilliant. Been operating non-stop for 6 months using ADSL, wired and wireless networks, and VoIP. Simple set up, very stable.
- Good: Simple set it and forget, wireless is brilliant, stable , reliable unit
- Bad: Very simple configuration (not many advanced features), does not like the settings being played with

When buying this type of "all in one" there are always trade offs, but so far the only problems with NB9W have been of my own design. It has handled all the wifi, adsl and voip jobs thrown at it. I had heard mixed reviews about Netcomm service, however I have found them to be repsonsive and professional.
- Good: Easy setup/config
3 year warranty
Good intro to world of VOIP
PSTN backup - Bad: Appears to get quite hot and the QOS rules seem a bit simplistic when compared to other similar devices. Had some problems with MAC filtering
- Good: Easy setup/config

got one with my adsl2+ plan with VOIP... didnt like the fact that i was buying of a company i hadn;t heard of but i trusted cnet, it let me down... the wireless keeps on disconnecting maybe its due to it being wpa protected but isnt it designed to be protected... poor speeds i tested the speeds with my other 3com modem and the speed i get with that is double what i get with the netcomm also the wireless of the 3com goes all around my house while the netcomm has a hard time getting it through walls and if i sit behind the router i have minimal connectivity to the net...
- Good: found out that netcomm isnt really a good company...
- Bad: bad connection, keeps disconnecting, poor wireless conectavity, keeps dropping the adsl signal, restarts by itself, just plain horrible really....

Bought it because of all the hype
- Good: Has been given many great reviews
- Bad: Keeps locking up, forcing me to reset by powering off/on

Have to keep reseting the modem
- Good: Easy to setup
- Bad: Have to keep hard resetting the modem every week because of no incoming and no outgoing traffic.
