Apple needs to make device something like iGame touch or iPod G something on those lines with a cpu faster than IPhone 3G S, fm radio and camera(which makes it fatter but more function),plastic instead of stainless steel(which makes it lighter).move the connector to the side(stop landscape gaming from disturbed.16GB=$449 and
THIS IS ONLY MY IMAGINATION
I hope apple make something like this -

An ipod is a music device which has some aspect of a computer that all! It not a gaming device. Dsi is officially a gaming device it should be judge with the PSP go and PSP 3000.The only way i could be a gaming device if it made to be playing game.It has a low battery because it is small and slim. This competition is a waste of time cnet is listening to the apple's bluffer market strategy. also it needs rounds only with the main aspects of a portable-gaming device like graphics, battery, looks, sound, protection, controls, comfort, technically spec, screen size and etc

I saw that too Tom :P
My brother has an ipod touch. Most of the games are ports of flash and facebook style games. There are some awesome ones, but the DS has heaps as well. I'm suprised there was no mention of the DSi's photo maniputation gimmick. -

Wow, I have to agree with Simon! I bought my iPod as a MP3 player and had never considered it to be a gaming device. However, I do think that it is a clever move by Apple to begin marketing it in this way (if they do intend to do this). I just hope the apps don't increase in price!

i don't see the iPod as a gaming devise but the fact that it can stand up to the DS is just amazing.
