Nintendo's next-gen machine is a great addition to the console race, one that focuses on playability over power. It's sure to win some new converts to gaming, although discerning tech-heads may balk at its lack of functionality and features.

      -Perfect controll scheme
      -User Friendly
      -Internet access
    • Bad: -Game range
      -Graphics not at high level

    I thoughs it was a very good product, however with lack of competitive games, and correct graphics for the next generation, it only makes this product an 8
    but a very fun product none the less

    • Good: Controllers, playabillity, price and content.
    • Bad: no controller charger, thats all.

    The most fun with pants on,
    cant wait til they let rip with more games.
    We need to see a cricket and starwars game.

      Cheaper Games - 79.95 compared to 119.95
      Photo, Internet, Shop, News, Weather, Mii Channels
    • Bad: Remotes chew batteries
      Full online support only arrives in June

    Nice.
    The controller is great and the graphics (on some titles are pretty good).
    Also the console's supposedly 'limited online functionality' is software limited not hardware limited. Inbuilt 802.11g feature in all Wii's and over 50 games are already available on the VC with more coming each week, even if they are a little pricey. Small wii downloadable games and proper online gaming will arrive before years end and then the online functionality definitely won't be limited.

    • Good: More games available, nunchuck, great controllers, did I mention cost effective. One in each room.... :)
    • Bad: I have several DVD players, thats what they are for!!! who cares about the rest

    Buy 2 of these for one PS3, supports old games.
    What was that about the PS3 and backward compat with PS2 games ???

      Low cost
      Intuitive controls

      No DVD player but im not bothered
      Some of the bigger game companies are giving the wii a miss. they'll come round in time.

    ok so the graphics aren't great, but they dont make a console. Everything else about it is fantastic. I love the new controller which i think makes up for its flaws. It may not have nest gen graphics but it does have next gen system of playing. Most of all though i find it fun, which is hard to find in a graphics driven world. The only thing that does bother me is that the big gaming companies are not bringing out games for the wii, but im sure when they see its capiblites they'll come round.

    • Good: the whole system in general, the interactivity, the family/crowd oriented gameplay, the "wiimote", it's ability to actually make you have to "play" the game.
    • Bad: having to buy a new tv if you let go of the control, not dvd compatible(but honestly people it's not that big of a deal that it doesn't play dvd's. it's a "video game" console)

    the wii is a ground-breaking system with it's amazing interactivity. the game almost comes to life around you, engulfing you in play!

    • Good: GREAT GAMEPLAY, Wii CHANNELS, MARKETPLACE (DONKEY KONG COUNTRY), FUN FOR WHOLE FAMILY EVEN PARENTS. ICOULD KEEP TYPING FOR A WHILE SO I'LL STOP. JUST GO GET ONE.
    • Bad: NONE, EVERYONE ALREADY HAS A DVD PLAYER SO WHO CARES.

    SUCH A FUN AND STYLISH CONSOLE ALREADY BROUGHT SIX GAMES AND THEY ALL UNIQUE AND FUN TO PLAY BY YOURSELF OR WITH FRIENDS.

    It is terrible the graphics are horrible if you had any sense at all you wouldnt buy it!!!
