Nokia 5140
By Jeremy Roche on 24 September 2004
All up, the Nokia 5140 should satisfy the needs of most active types and labourers who require a sturdy phone that can survive a bit of rough handling.

- Good: The internet is the only cool thing.
- Bad: Everything except the internet.
this phone has given me a lot of trouble for at least 2 years. So if you want trouble, go for this phone.

- Good: plenty of useful features
- Bad: limited battery life after 12 months of correct useage
disappointed that after 18 months of moderate work, no drops etc it has completley collapsed and will not operate at all, displayed 'Contact Service' after a month of erratic operation.

- Good: just magick, compass, flashlight, thermometer, sound meter, diary functions.
- Bad: had it for nearly two years, the only regret is my handsfree sets always c#*p out at the junction coming out of the phone
bloody great phone
just a great phone, love to listen to the radio while working as a mobile saw miller, terrific to take pics of things while milling

Does it come with a block of flats?
This phone combined with the GPS Shell is basically all you need for a survival trip! great features. in fact the 5140i is even better with a 64k colour screen and some other awesome features

The tradesman special
The phone is great to knock around. Some features are great and others are prety standard. It makes calls and you can take calls. What more do you really need.
