Nokia 6110 Navigator

A good 3G slide phone with an excellent screen and sound quality. It feels a little cheap in places, though, and its GPS navigation is highly compromised.

- Good: Easy to use, great GPS, FREE GPS!!! (unless on the network), every feature you would need on a phone, great call quality, awesome volume, plays music well, multiple alarms
- Bad: camera isn't so great - a bit grainy, has glitched a few times on me in the last few months
The GPS works fantastic and the choice of voice assist languages is great, also the fact that there are many colour schemes for the maps. I've had no complaints about this phone, it's one of the best I've owned, except that in the past few months it has glitched a bit - occasionally when the phone rings or an alarm goes off it just flashes and makes no sound, and nothing can fix it except to take the battery out. My friend, who got the same phone and contract when I did, didn't have this problem at all but I found out he had been updating it regularly so the fault with mine was probably that I didn't do that. Unlike the recent GPS phones, the 6110 GPS is completely free even after updating, I am disappointed they didn't continue this with all phones. Definately a phone to hold on to even after getting a new one.

- Good: GPS, reliable
- Bad: GPS, fairly fragile
Well, I say GPS in both because it really is good and bad. When it is working, it is lovely, but I am recently finding that sometimes it take 20-30 minutes to conenct, sometimes it just won't connect to the sattelite at all. Having had it for a while now, the maps are also out of date, but all well.
The actual phone functioning has been quite reliable, but it only took one drop at the wrong angle for all its innards to spill out, and the simcard clip broke, so sometimes I need to do multiple power cycles to get it to work now. Also, the removable cover on the back lets heaps of crap get onto the camera.
Other than that, really happy with it. -

- Good: rarely lags, 3G, Video calling, good dictionary, navigator, internet, good quality camera, excellent slide spring
- Bad: sometimes freezes, bad internal camera, dents easily, hard to text sometimes, short battery life
I had this phone for quite a while and it survived alot. I had dropped it quite alot, but I found that it dented pretty easily. I liked how it rarely lagged and functioned really smoothly, but it was hard to text because the keys were quite stiff to press. The navigator was quite good too, but it costed to use it and you had to buy the maps, though it sucks up alot of battery. This phone had short battery life when watching youtube videos, but otherwise this phone is a REALLY good phone and I would recommend this to people.

- Good: very reliable, gps is handy, can store lots of music very loud loudspeaker
- Bad: the back camera would not open up slide broken cannot start it up any other way? battery life with gps running is very short
i've had this phone for 2 year and it has been worked hard dropped alot and still works except of the back camera not opening alot of the time anymore...and doesnt freeze and lag like my old n73, beside the short battery life if you leave the gps or internet on this phone was the best phone ever!!!!
