Nokia 6110 Navigator

A good 3G slide phone with an excellent screen and sound quality. It feels a little cheap in places, though, and its GPS navigation is highly compromised.

    • Good: loud speaker
    • Bad: the 2mp..thought it would be better. gets harder to slide. scracthes easily

    somtimes it doesnt let me send a message so it goes to my outbox and resends every 3 minutes and it just fails on me.. even though i have full reception.
    ive had to get it fixed 2 at optus and they still havent fixed it
    the screen goes blue every second time i go into the message folder.
    it freezes when i diconnect a call every now again.

    I've had this phone for a couple of years now, and i must say I'm very happy with it.
    However at one stage the GPS stopped working and the phone wouldn't tell me when i recieved an SMS... turns out for both problems all i needed to do was delete some of the stores data and i was set again!
    Build quality has held up from 2 years worth of dropping on the ground and being thrown around at the pub. Screen hasn't even cracked either!

    • Good: gps kicks **** durable, only for about a year
    • Bad: charging becomes very difficult after a year or so, poor battery life the more you charge it, damaged easily

    its a pretty good phone, especially the value is worth it

    just don't ddrop it

    • Good: - Great Navigator
      - Great loud speaker
      Basically heaps good majority.
    • Bad: Just the plastic thing at the back for the camera gets damaged quickly.

    Best phone by far, that I have owned that is.

    Really cool to use and even though it's not all flash like the iPhone it's amazing for many diffirent capabilities such as GPS.

    does anybody know about it not sending sms. i have a problem with sms going to outbox all the time and wanting to be resent in about 3 minutes.. then when 3 minutes comes along it doe it again till the message fails. it happens with every text i make.. cant update either.. can i reinstall the current version.. need help.. i really need sms for my business as my clients only sms me... thnx.... my email is shottie_01@hotmail.com

    Forgot to say the battery life can be better as it is only 900mAh...usually lasts 1-2 days on normal charge. Overall very happy with the phone!

    • Good: Great GPS sensitivity. Navigation software can always be obtained cracked so the voice nav isn't a big deal. Love the symbian os and installed a lot of illegal content ;) so good.
    • Bad: Cheap overall body - creaks and becomes very oily and prone to slipping.

    Very nice phone as the GPS is A LOT more sensitive than the N95 and E71 that I've owned. It picks up the signal very fast and signal strength seems to be stronger.

    • Good: Great size. Very reliable - never freezes or lags. Despite some comments, camera is very good.
    • Bad: None.

    Amazing phone! Full feature set. Very dependable. I use mine as an MP3 player, GPS, camera, organizer, etc, etc. Wonderful Symbian s60 device for half the price of most.
