Nokia 6230
By Lisa Simmons on 26 July 2004
This is a beautifully simple looking phone cleverly disguising a rich feature set.

A nasty piece of work
I would not go near this phone again. it is not worth it. For a start the navigation keypad is useless, video quality was poor considering the price of the phone. My phone would constantley turn off and on by itself. Also had a problem where the keypad didnt work. Impossible to see the screen when the backlight was off. The camera quality was good enough but again, not worth the money.
Bluetooth was all but useless on my phone. The speaker would make strange noises when i was on a call (as if a radio on near the phone). to top it all off the phone just died. it will not turn on. Finaly, and this is picky, the cover would scratch very easily. so either leave that sticky protector on or get a leather cover or dont leave your keys in the same pocket as your phone -

'sall good
i have 7250i I k700i and a 6230 i think the 6230 is better than the k700i pics are clear and games are good. MP3 quality is good too. Plus expandable memory. the only phone i would chose over this is the k750i

cheap and nasty - not what its made out to be
This is a phone that 'would be' but doesnt make it. Sure it sounds good in print, but once you start using it you find it just doesnt have quality in anything it does. Photo quality is just awful in any mode. The 'nav' pad is the worst I have ever used, does everything else but display the 'menu' ... and when you're constantly needing to use the pad for just about every function on the phone, you'll want to throw it in the bin just from the frustration. Voice quality at times can be indistinct, tinny and thin. The upper buttons and functions are not intuitive. The screen is difficult to read outdoors, especially on sunny days.
I dont know which phone was reviewed above, but it certainly wasnt my 6230. Wouldnt get another one even if you gave it to me or free. -

Ok but..
This phone is good because its have Bluetooth, Infrared and USB device..and MP3 ringtone..if you want to beat this phone try a Motorola C380..althought it doesn't have Bluetooth and Infrared and FM radio but its have mini USB device to synchronised..the speaker is superb..try it now!
