Nokia 6280
By Jeremy Roche on 07 April 2006
Provided you're willing to compromise a bit of pocket space, the Nokia 6280 has a range of multimedia applications and a dazzling big, bright screen. We'd like to have seen better camera performance, but as far as capturing video goes, it's hard to beat this phone at the moment in terms of quality.

Can see where the complaints are coming from have had NO problems with this phone.
- Good: Signal, never bad, even in country areas if reception is avalible even 10 Km away it's still picking it up Battery life last for ages (again I can take 20 Photos do a couple of video calls and still have enough battery power to play a game for an hour.)
- Bad: Can't think of any

Great phone IF your willing to upgrade the software
- Good: Has lots of features I like (Mainly with the new software)
Opening a large MP4 video file is good (couple of seconds at most) - Bad: OCCASIONAL grainy photos
Bad syncing of audio and video on high quality videos
- Good: Has lots of features I like (Mainly with the new software)

I strongly advise you NOT to buy this phone.
It's great at first, but give it a week and you'll want to throw it at the wall.
Battery life is poor. You'll get 14 hours out of it if you're using it an average amount. Basically, use this phone to call or to go online and you'll need to have your charger in your back pocket.
I've had the phone for 12 weeks. I'm on my third charger. They keep snapping! and I'm SUPER careful with my equipment.
Nokias decision to change their universal charger to a thinner, flimsier counterpart was stupid in my eyes.
If you're new to phones, buy Nokia or Samsung. Just NOT this one...- Good: Large screen and well laid out GUI. But you can get the GUI and a large screen on other Nokias...
- Bad: Battery Life
Flimsy slider
Placement of End Call button
Uses flimsy new Nokia style charger

seriously, its a peice of sh*t! after about 6 months of use i had 2 send it away because the screen would keep goin white and blanking out in the middle of calls, txt or anything i would do, got it back and after about another 2months same problem again, sent it back and was with out a fone for a month and as soon as it came back it had a completly diferent problem, when i would turn it off and back on again it would reset to the factory defults wich is a pain in the a**!
its currently in repair and nokia are refusing to replace it, they have been no help at all.
i would recomend not wasting your money on this fone i treated it with care and it still had problems, alot of other people had similar problems aswell.
i realy think nokia stuffed up on this model, definatly not worth what i paid for it.- Good: features are pretty good
- Bad: being sent away 3 times with same problems, slide became loose after a few weeks

My phone was great, that was until it got stolen 2 days ago. I found the photos were quite grainy and that when you edited them, they looked worse. The width of the phone was hard to work with because half the time it wouldnt fit into my pockets and i would have to hold it. Other than that, it was a really good phone ad i would definitely invest in another one.. one word of advice tho... dont let it get stolen!!
- Good: - Good memory on phone and card
- charges quite fast
- easy sliding - Bad: - the width
- the quality of the photos
- the night flash wasnt the best
- Good: - Good memory on phone and card
