Nokia 6500 Slide

The Nokia 6500 Slide is an attractive 3G phone, but despite features like video-out it's like dressing your daggy uncle in a nice suit.

    I guess it depends on what your previous phone was. I had a particularly faulty and featureless previous phone. So i found this one to be really good.

    • Good: The camera is pretty good, most others are 2 mega...This is 3.2. Looks cool too. TV out cable is pretty handy too.
    • Bad: Can be slow at times. The slide is a tad rigid. Hard to insert and take out SIM card. As in its bloody hard.

    this is an ok phone compared to the rest that ive had except the fact that its heavy the buttons dont work occasionally and it resets its self at least once a week and doest slide properly half the time

    A good phone if your careful. I agree with the moisture problem though. It is a good simple phone and has all the things you need and nothing more.

    • Good: Good close range camera, good internet speeds for a mid range phone and a good keypad. Also it is brilliant at playing music and videos.
    • Bad: The slider gets gritty and lumpy very quickly and when i load videos up it refreshes and goes back to the menu.

    i think its a good phone im getting it in a week!!!

    • Good: look sgood hot colour
    • Bad: i heard it freezes
      hope not.

    Shocking phone...faulty from the day i bought it.

    • Good: not much
    • Bad: freezing,
      wont unlock,
      resets display and tone settings,
      screen going blank,
      turning itself off,

    I got this phone a couple of months ago and ever since then it freezes like i will go to my menu and it will freeze its painful because i turn it off and turn it on again. It had a slight drop but nothing to big.

    • Good: It's a nice looking phone and not too heavy.
    • Bad: That it freezes when ever i do something on it. And the camera when you take a photo you have to hold down the button for ages other wise it will come out blurry

    I love this phone! got it today nothing wrong or anything

      Finish
      buttons
      everything else
    • Bad: Flash not torch
      not next G compatible i believe -.-

    Good phone i highly recommend it.

    • Good: 3.2MP camera
      Brushed metal design
      Easy UI if you're used to Nokia.
      Fairly cheap At the moment ($199 Vodafone)
    • Bad: Returns to default settings BUT YOU CAN FIX THIS! ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS MOVE THE RINGTONES, WALLPAPERS AND THEMES TO THE PHONE MEMORY!!! Do NOT take it to the repair shop because they wont fix this problem!
