Nokia N8: sample photos

Lexy spent her formative years taking a lot of photos and dreaming in technicolour. Nothing much has changed now she's covering all things photography related for CNET.

We all know by now how well (or not) the Nokia N8 stacks up as a smartphone. But considering its camera is so competent in its own right, we decided to put it through its paces.

Nokia pulled out all the stops to let us know about the N8's photo chops, bringing out renowned photographer David LaChapelle to Australia to use the phone in a serious shoot.

Click through for sample images taken on the N8 — straight from the camera, no post-processing here apart from resizing for web display.

Its quite simple with Nokia. They make brilliant phones hardware wise, but they are let down by Symbian. A Nokia n8 running Android would be the best.

Try running Andriod properly on the 680 mhz processor. Its not going to work well.
As I have said numerous times, what you dislike is the UI, which is Nokia's problem, not Symbian's.

Well, it's official, It is the best of them all. Mine does everything I want and more with any pesky Itunes or other annoying programs that don't let you do what you want. It takes better pictures than my camera and with the extra memory I have now added in, it's total memory is huge.
