Nokia N97
By Joseph Hanlon on 07 July 2009
The N97 features class-leading specs matched with outstanding design and build, but it loses marks for the Symbian platform that desperately needs an overhaul to stay competitive.

- Good: keyboard/touchscreen mix, features, screen size.
- Bad: Lots - regular software freezes, call dropouts, irregular mail or message updates, poor reception.
Lots - regular software freezes, call dropouts, mail does not always update, messages up to 24 hrs late or on reset, poor call reception, etc.
For a serious business user this phone is good in theory and rubbish in practise. Badly needs software update. -

- Good: Internet,can play online vedios,flash,lite weight,navigator,FM transmitter
- Bad: Phone reception,speaker phone,One third class game,photo quality,battery life,
Its a nice phone with 32gb storage, great features like FM transmitter with which u can play ur mobile music on your car's radio without wires but it does'nt works on my ford but works on my Toyota.navigator works quite ok..lite weight..i personally did'nt liked the photo quality..as i thought the 5 mp is going to show quite good results..The strong point is the internet..i use optus and the net is very good..can play vedios very well..it has got adobe and quick office trail versions..adobe full licence cost around AUD$18..only one game and which is useless..the reception is ok and the battery life is ok as well..but if u talk alot then u need a car charger or a backup..all the time.

- Good: Call quality, responsive touch screen, 32GB Memory
- Bad: A little big
I don't know why so many people are complaining about how many menu's they have to go through to access the feature they want. You have the ability to put up to 8 shortcuts of your choice on the 'desktop' of the phone which greatly reduces the number of menu's you have to negotiate to get the one you want. I don't see this as a problem at all. Great phone.
