By Asher Moses on 05 July 2006
An incremental upgrade to the Atom, the Atom Exec is an incredibly feature-rich, well-designed smartphone.

Been watching o2 for some time and this is by far the best pda phone on the market.
- Good: Fast processor and window mobile 5,small form factor
- Bad: O2 have informed me that 3g is on its way next year but no 850mhz to run Telstra next G which will be more suited to the whole country

I've had an Atom Exec for 2months but it's been in repairs for 4 weeks of this time. Atom Execs are notorious for a High-Pitched noise from the speaker every time the screen is on.I've had the item replaced once and it's gone again for repair-same problem. Please check out this forum re: high-pitched noise b4 spending yr $1200 on this device.
- Good: Runs large applications very well, stacks of room, fast, ,many apps included
- Bad: Crap Battery life - even with Wi-fi & BT off.
Irritating & Loud High-pitched noise from speaker - VERY VERY distracting!
Lousy return 2 base repairs - TAKES AGES!

Fast and Stable
I use multiple software packages and no conflicts. None of my previous machines have been this stable (hp hx4700, hp jornada 680, palm IIIc). Almost never hangs. Install all my today plugins on mini SD card and no probs. More responsive than hx 4700. I returned rw 6828 due to phone malfunction and must say hp service was brilliant.
- Good: size,performance
- Bad: no protective screen built in like hp rw6828, battery drains suddenly on my machine sometimes
