O2 Xphone II

By Kristyn Maslog-Levis on 22 December 2004

The XphoneII is a classy Smartphone that will appeal to professionals, but could do with a few basic improvements to justify the price tag and secure its place as the only phone in your pocket.

    Love the phone and capablities

I bought my phone in HK. It's a great phone with a really nice screen, but I agree with the user above. My joy stick feel off the phone because the case that comes with the phone is not designed correctly. I emailed the company, who informed me I cannot purchase this piece and in order to take advantage of the warranty I would need to mail the entire phone back.

    Max Memory

Wondering what's the Max Memory for Xphone II? Can I put a 1G SD card in? How can I set storage card as the default directory for recording files?

    Bad Joystick

A good phone let down by the crap joystick. My joystick actually cracked in half! Some superglue fixed it but I'm dissapointed. The joystick feel and response was bad straight out of the box.

A GOOD REPLACEMENT FOR O2 XDA II

It was a good replacement to me as , I still get to use the Email Function. Browsing is a bit limited as the Explorer could not handle multiple frame websites..

Then of course, you dont have PocketExcel&Word...

I'm satisfied with my Xphone II for now..

Had the predecessor and love this

I cant believe some of the comments in this forum. Specifically some people asking what this phone can do that ordinary phones cant. You just have to logon to Handango to see the wealth of software available for the smartphone. Personally I cant live without the world clock and maps of London, Boston and Sydney. Thats why it kicks arse over an ordinary phone.

    Purchase Cost must be low

The purchase Cost of this mobile must be low because there are lot of competitors arised in the mobile industry bringing the cost of mobile very low. Compared to all the cost of this mobile with this facilities must be around Rs.10000/- indian money value. If it is so, the sale will be good.
