OpenOffice 2

OpenOffice 2, the freeware version of Sun Microsystems StarOffice 8, is a great deal for home and small-businesses users who don't mind browsing online forums for tech support. But enterprise users are better served by StarOffice 8.

    • Good: lots of options and features
    • Bad: no delete option on my file tool bar (or has someone been screwing with my software), no apostrophe.

first time using open office, hooked on word before getting this computer. i need to format a way (via templates, macros? im not sure with what) a way to alternate throughout the text, as Im typing, with various paragraph styles. It looks like this is possible, but im not sure how. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
