Opera 9.5

Long considered a cult favourite, Opera 9.5 for Windows and Mac has introduced some compelling improvements to security, speed and synchronisation — yes, syncing in a browser!— is there enough here to make you a convert?

Been my favourite since years, and it's had features way before FF/Safari/IE8. Only Chrome beats it in speed.
- Good: faster than firefox if well optimised, in the box downloader, email, p2p, developer plugins, stable, remembers tabs, widgets, Small memory footprint
- Bad: not 100% of websites work on it
