Optus as Australia's iPhone carrier?

Optus may lead Australia's iPhone race if parent company SingTel secures exclusive iPhone distribution rights in Singapore.

I have optus land line with a message bank I do not know how to receive my messages what number do I call re: primus you call 333 please let me know

I got an email yesterday from the topbuy Australian store offering iphones for sale, unlocked to use on any network.
BUT, even though they are new, only offering a 30 Day warranty??
I guess they can't guarantee that the final "exclusive" carrier won't send out an update restricting access??
