Optus will offer the Galaxy Nexus to business customers from 20 December, according to Android blog Ausdroid, with pricing to start from $0 upfront on AU$79 per month Optus Business Caps.

The Ausdroid post reports that Optus has "confirmed internally" the information above, suggesting that Optus has briefed its retail staff about the imminent release of the Galaxy Nexus in preparation for a public announcement. A spokesperson from Optus would not comment on this information.

The Galaxy Nexus is the new flagship device for the Android platform, designed in partnership between Google and Samsung, and running on the latest version of Android, commonly referred to as Ice Cream Sandwich. If released in Australia this year, the Galaxy Nexus would be the first handset in this region to feature a 720p HD resolution display.
