Pagani Zonda C12S Roadster
By Derek Fung on 06 November 2008
Sydney Motor Show 2008 If you think Ferraris and Lamborghinis are pretty out there, then the Pagani Zonda will reset your boundaries. And if you have a wheelbarrow of cash in the backyard you can now drive one on Aussie roads.
Those with a lazy AU$1.55 million and a penchant for Italian exotica can purchase the Zonda C12S Roadster that was on display at this year's Sydney show. Weighing three-fifths of not very much — thanks to a body mainly made from lightweight carbon fibre — and powered by a 7.3-litre V12 engine stolen from Mercedes' high performance AMG division, this C12S Roadster should propel its occupants from 0-100km/h in 3.2 seconds.
