    • Good: it will download and upload to a computer
    • Bad: seems to have lots of screen problems

I was having a few problems with the touch screen alignment, I looked up a few forums, it seems to be a comon problem, it only gets worse, then the touch section stops working, mine is only 12 to 18 months old, the screen still lights up, but it doesnt work any more, I am very dissapointed with it,

    • Good: A very solid entry level machine, that can be pushed with a little effort!
    • Bad: No sound, No SD card slot.

With regards to the battery, it is built in and is not easy user replicable, but should not ever need replaced! It trickle feeds from the PC when the USB cable is connected or can be power-fed from the included mains adapter.
The memory is non-volatile, so you would not loss anything even if the battery cuts out.
With normal operations a fully charged battery usually lasts people between one to two weeks.

By the way it will play video without sound and you can go online with it (through the USB cable or IR) if you update it with the relevant network communications files (which are not included as standard).

    • Good: Great PDA functions, easy to add aditional stuff.
    • Bad: Not that great screen, No media what-so-ever apart from photos, no wi-fi/bluetooth

A great PDA, perfect for what i need it for, also got limited network when using with my nokia phone.

    • Good: The chess game is great it behaves like a human
    • Bad: Photo software does not on my unit I am still trying to get this problem resolved.

The unit has heaps of potential but like many units with small screens is almost unusable in bright sunshine

It's too breezy and vapid of a review that doesn't address important issues like whether or not the battery is user replaceable. Like are we only supposed to have the life span of a dog, I wish it did!

Great for a first time user

I am a rep on the road and decided to throw away the diary and try a PDA. I did not want to spend a lot of money at the start so I tried the z22. Its great for making appointment and have the tasks on the calender helps with things i have to do during the day. The only downside is that its a bit gard to read in the car, however a contrast adjustment may cure that. Otherwise its great and the wife even bought one after seeing mine. Now i know how easy to use they are I'm looking forward to upgrading to an E2 in the future.
