The Good:price

The Bad:green line down left hand side

this model has developed a green approx 2 inch vertical line down the left hand side of the screen.
This started off a couple of weeks ago after a few min it would go.Not anymore. The green line is there constantly now.Not only that but the screen flashes alot too.
Not good as we bought this new only 16 16 months ago

The Good:SIZE

The Bad:There is a new model

Did alot of research before I made my first plasma purchase. Waited a long time till this model was released and was in the shops when I was notified.
Had fun negotiating the price! I was playing one dealer off against the other saying "this store will give me this price, what can you do?" Ended up paying $1900 with an extended 4yr warranty!! Not bad considering it was retailing for $2900 and extended warranty is around $400.

The Good:Great TV

The Bad:HDMI inputs wont work

Can anyone shed some light on why none of my HDMI inputs will work. I have been told its a Pana buffering problem. Very annoying as I have a laptop that plays Blu-Ray and I cant utilize it. Yes I have checked the cable and Laptop on another TV. Its all OK.

The Good:Very clear picture (just watched the Aus Open tennis and it was brilliant!), great sound (and I don't even have any external speakers or surround sound - but given the quality I'm in no rush), very easy to attach my Dell laptop and watch it on the tv, also attached dvd player with ease, love that it tunes itself and has a 7 day tv guide. Can't say enough positive things about it! I'm glad I didn't buy the full HD - there's no need to spend the extra $ as this tv is brilliant!

The Bad:The shiny black finish attracts a lot of dust, but dusting it once or twice a week is no big deal.

I am very impressed. I paid $1599 from Harvey Norman (which I think was a mistake on their website - but they honoured the price), and am thrilled!

The Good:everything

The Bad:none, for under 2K how can u find one. and for people who rate 'burn in' as a con, they should not be looking at plasies in the first place, they need to be at the lcd corner block and get off the plasma block.

If your dumb enough to leave a still image for longer than 30-60mins, then expect your screen to have a little burn in but they can be removed quite easily with burn in dvds (loop the videos)

Panasonic have always been #2, Pioneer is leading but 2nd to best is fantastic. I have all Pana gear at home and using the HD uplink gear, works like a charm, the pic and sound is perfect for general use and gaming. As everyone else is saying, Pana is best bang for buck, cant go wrong with this model and many other pana models.

The Good:Quality HD

The Bad:black band burn-in on each side.

Great picture but after 2 years of ownership, side vertical bar burn in will not go away.
