Photos: CeBIT 2006 - Product Innovations

By Asher Moses on 12 May 2006

In amongst the colourless enterprise servers and prosaic IT management software, there were a few nuggets of innovative product gold on display this week at CeBit 2006. Here's a list of cherry-picked goodies that we found to be cool, interesting, innovative or all of the above.

Aigo is the newest player in the portable video space. The pocket-sized E858 MP4 player offers a 2-inch screen, up to 3.5 hours of video playback battery life (5 hours if you're just listening to music) and photo viewing capabilities. The unit costs AU$219, AU$249 and AU$299 for the 512MB, 1GB and 2GB versions respectively.
