It seems that Samsung has a final version of its Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy S3, with Polish phone owners reportedly receiving the update overnight.

This is the first official Samsung release of the firmware, following weeks of leaked, incomplete builds.
The update seems no closer to Australian phones, however, with both Telstra and Vodafone telling customers via recent blog posts that Samsung is yet to submit the update for internal testing. This suggests that the update is still several weeks away at least from being pushed out to Aussie Galaxy S3 handsets.
Customers purchasing the new 4G version of the Galaxy S3 will jump the queue, with the newly released handset shipping with Jelly Bean out of the box.
The Jelly Bean update is the latest version of the Android operating system, and it brings several enhancements, including improved speed and the new Google Now feature. Samsung's implementation of Jelly Bean adds a few further tweaks, with a new "basic" home screen mode, a reordering of the main system menu for clarity and a resizable pop-up play video screen window.
