Laser printers for budget-conscious home offices
Although inkjet printers have been right at home in, well, homes for a long time now, laser printers are still mostly found in offices. Here are some laser printers we found that are a good fit for home offices, for their small footprints and reasonable price tags.
Samsung ML-1630
If you want a monochrome laser that doesn't look like yet another grey box of doom, the ML-1630 could be your perfect match.
Lexmark E250d
Lexmark E250dn is an inexpensive, high-quality monochrome laser printer. If you need the fastest text prints, however, look to the competition.
HP LaserJet P2015
The HP P2015dn has the right features to make it a good fit for a small office or home office.
Dell 1320c Colour Laser Printer
The Dell 1320c is a decent choice for a small office or work group, but a little more cash will net you a faster printer with better print quality.

I am a student and this suits me fine for word processing and light graphics interpretation. No problems works fast and easy to use
Pros: Fast printing
Easy to use and set up
Relatively cheap cost of peripherals
Cons: Images ok, but not made for full scale photo print really.
Nothing else at all

I’m a university student and was just sick of the maintenance and frequent cartridge replacement involved in keeping my inkjet computer. Being a student, most of my printing involves printing essays and research, which can often be many pages at a time. I never print colour, so mono is great for me. This has been a great solution. I got it from Officeworks on sale for $98 and compared to other laser printers in this price range, I found the toner to be much cheaper. So far, very happy with my purchase.
Pros: Cheap.
Extremely fast printing.
Internal paper tray.
Cons: Somewhat loud.

Wanted a compact B&W Laser printer for home office and finally selected this.
Pros: Great Print quality, nice print speeds, easy duplex printing as a pleasent surprise
Cons: None so far
