The Pixma MP170 brings multifunction printing capabilities in at an attractive price point. With printing speeds of up to 17 pages per minute for colour and 22 for black and white, not to mention memory card input for direct printing, the MP170 will suit most home or home office needs.
Downside
The price point has probably kept the MP170 from having an LCD display, which in most cases one would want for direct printing.
Bottom line
The Pixma MP170 offers a lot of features for the price, but the MP450 (for AU$50 more) might be worth a look if you haven't burned your whole budget.

we use our printer almost everyday and highly recommend this model the clarity in both colour and black&white is superb.

Pros: Excellent machine
Cons: Nothing at this stage we have had this machine for almost 18months,Had no problems so far.

ink cartridges run out way too often and are very expensive.
