The good:

Decent print quality
Built-in memory card slots
Two host USB ports
Dedicated 4x6 photo paper tray
Automatic document feeder
Cheap replacement ink

The bad:

Slow prints and scans
No onboard photo-editing options
Relies heavily on included Kodak software for extended feature sets, rather than putting features on the control panel
Can't do anything with the printer if an ink tank is empty
Fax feature set is skimpy

The bottomline:

Kodak packs a host of features in the EasyShare 5500, but fails to flesh them out sufficiently. We found this all-in-one printer frustrating to use.
